Responsibilities
- Own Game Features: Lead the design and development of core game systems and features across our mobile titles
- Contribute Across Titles: Work across multiple games to implement features, integrate shared technology, and optimize performance - ensuring consistency and quality across the portfolio -
- Mentor & Lead: Support the growth of junior engineers through mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance
- Strategic Impact: Partner directly with the CTO to define and drive new initiatives and help shape our overall technology roadmap
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, and product teams to bring gameplay ideas to life with polish and performance in mind
- AI Product Roadmap: Partner closely with the CTO to build our product roadmap for the future of AI at Ares

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional programming experience
- Proven experience shipping high-quality games, ideally for mobile platforms
- Deep Unity expertise, especially in performance optimization and mobile deployment
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience with AI tools and workflows
- Passion for mentoring and enabling the success of others on the team
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns

Preferences
- Experience with industry-standard backend/game services integration
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs and services
- Familiarity with live ops and analytics tools
- Agile and/or Scrum development experience
